Located on the main square in Lille, the theatre was built on an ancient XIXth century guard's house and has been classified as a historical monument since the 27th of June 1925. It consists of several small spaces such as its atypical facade, the smallest venue hosting up to a hundred people and the largest reception area, called Roger-Salengro, hosting around 460 people. The theatre shows performances of the Lille Tourcoing national theatre.
